Tony was in the U.S. Navy for four years, and stationed two years at the Philadelphia Naval Yard. After being honorably discharged, he would go out with my friends in Center City and watch the bartenders have fun and make a living. Uncles, now U Bar, was the first gay bar Tony ever entered. The staff was friendly and hospitable, which he believes is true today. He says, “I treat everyone who enters these walls as if they are entering my own home.” He tends bar Wednesday-Sunday, 9-2, and Saturda

Find him behind the bar on Sunday, Monday and Tuesdays 9 to close… Don’t look for him on Facebook, he’s not there!
Natira has been at UBar since June of 2015. She is your Friday night bar back and relief pitcher bartender. She is also your “host with most” downstairs at the Tavern Restaurant on Saturday nights. By day, Natira is in the UBar office, keeping things organized behind the scenes and putting her paralegal skills to use. When she isn’t at UBar or Tavern, Natira is hard at work on her Computer-Assisted Design degree. Oh, and she’s obsessed with tower cranes.
Originally a mid-western boy from Wisconsin, Todd has been a bartender in the big city for 21 years. You can find him slinging drinks Friday from 4-9 and Saturday and Sunday from 11-6. His latest cocktail creation is the DPWT, you’ll have to ask what that means. Look forward to more delicious creations with plenty of fresh juicing. When he’s not behind the bar you can find Todd spending time with his dog or more likely making boys beg for treats. Oh! He’s also a big fan of the sex with Danny a
Danny is one of the newer additions to the U Bar team, taking the reigns each Saturday night with his brother-from-another-mother Tony. When Danny’s not behind a bar, he’s often hard at work on an art or design project. Although his libation of choice is Maker’s Mark, he is known for his unique shot called “Sex with
Jay is the Sunday Funday barback at Ubar, where you can see him stocking, cleaning, and scrubbing his little heart out. Jay also barbacks at Tavern on Camac many nights a week. During free time, Jay can be found running amuck in Fishtown, causing a ruckus, and raising hell.
Brian Moyer works mostly during the days at UBar. Although he can be seen bar-backing for Tony and Danny on Saturday nights! He is an alumni of West Chester University with degrees in Fine Art and in Computer Science, and moved to Philadelphia four years ago. Tending bar for a local micro brewery for over ten years, he has a passion for beer and brew culture, and is always ready to enjoy a pint! His spare time is
